Loans given
Record principal advanced to another party with person, amount, currency, date and notes.
Record money lent or borrowed, link repayments to the original obligation, preserve currency and wallet context, and review the complete relationship without reducing it to a single unexplained balance.
The Loan workspace is designed for practical obligations between the business or individual and another person or party.
Record principal advanced to another party with person, amount, currency, date and notes.
Maintain borrowed amounts and the party from whom the money was received.
Add linked repayment or return activity while preserving the original loan relationship.
Where selected, validate and connect operational wallet movement to the loan event.
Keep principal and payment history grouped for later review.
Use the project’s recycle-bin-oriented record handling instead of losing context casually.
The normal workflow keeps the original obligation and every linked payment together.
The module is intentionally operational and flexible rather than forcing every loan into a formal chart-of-accounts structure.
Keep money advanced to an individual separate from ordinary expenses.
Track funds received from another party and the repayments made later.
Preserve the chronology of advances and settlements where a simple balance alone is insufficient.
Use the wider Triplem VIP installment and reminder tools where scheduled repayments need additional planning.
This distinction protects existing user data and established workflows.
A loan recorded in the operational Loan section does not automatically create a Loans Payable, Receivable, Cash or Bank journal in Accounting ERP. If the transaction must appear in formal financial statements, record the appropriate Accounting entry separately until a native bridge is introduced.
Loans, assets, notes and Bitcoin tools remain first-class operational modules and are not removed when Accounting ERP is introduced.

Read guideThe answers below describe the current Triplem VIP workspace and the boundaries of this operational module.
Triplem VIP supports operational records for loans given and loans taken, together with repayments, return payments, dates, currency context, notes and linked history.
Where the loan workflow uses a linked operational wallet, Triplem VIP validates the wallet and can reflect the principal movement in that wallet instead of leaving the cash movement disconnected.
No. The operational Loan module remains separate from the formal Accounting ERP in the current build so existing loan history is not silently rewritten into journal entries.
Yes. Loan principal and linked repayment activity remain grouped so the outstanding position and settlement history can be reviewed over time.
