Notes & reminders

Searchable business notes with reminders built into the finance workspace

Keep titles, operational context and future follow-ups together, then surface important notes again with scheduled reminders instead of relying on memory or disconnected apps.

Sticky notes Reminders Search Edit

Keep the explanation beside the numbers.

Not every business fact belongs in a journal or transaction description. Notes preserve the context that helps a future user understand what needs attention.

Clear titles

Give each note a concise title so it remains identifiable in the sticky-note grid.

Free-form content

Store operational explanations, follow-ups, references or working information.

Search

Filter notes by relevant text instead of manually opening every record.

Edit

Update note content when the underlying situation changes.

Delete

Remove obsolete notes through the protected note workflow.

Sticky-note presentation

Use a compact note-oriented visual treatment instead of presenting notes like financial ledger rows.

Turn a note into a future action.

A note can carry a scheduled reminder so operational context resurfaces when it is actually needed.

01Create the noteEnter the title and supporting content.
02Choose reminder timeSet a future local date and time when follow-up is needed.
03Add reminder messageOptionally describe the action the reminder should prompt.
04Receive the due alertTriplem VIP presents the reminder overlay when the reminder becomes due.
05Reschedule or finishMove the reminder to another time or mark the alert as done while retaining the note.

Financial software still needs human context.

Notes are useful where the next decision cannot be represented by an amount alone.

Follow-up context

Remember a call, promise or next action related to a customer, supplier or internal matter.

Maintenance context

Keep asset or operational observations near the broader finance workspace.

Inventory context

Preserve non-transactional information about stock, sourcing or an expected action.

Personal workflow

Use scheduled reminders for tasks that should return to your attention later.

Notes inform decisions but do not post money.

Keeping notes separate prevents unstructured text from mutating financial statements.

Current behavior

Creating, editing or reminding a note does not create a journal, expense, invoice, asset transaction or any other accounting posting. Notes are contextual records only.

Practical questions about notes and reminders.

The answers below describe the current Triplem VIP workspace and the boundaries of this operational module.

What can I store in Notes?

Each note has a title and content so operational context, follow-ups, references and reminders can remain close to the rest of the workspace.

Can a note have a reminder?

Yes. Signed-in users can schedule note reminders, add reminder messages, reschedule them and manage due reminder alerts.

Can I search notes?

Yes. The Notes area supports searching so older operational context can be recovered without scanning every note manually.

Are Notes part of formal Accounting ERP?

No. Notes are an operational productivity module and do not create or alter double-entry accounting records.
